Bowmen of Adel
The archery section, otherwise known as the “Bowmen of Adel” was founded in 1948, and has been at the forefront of Yorkshire archery ever since. Over the years we have contributed several Champions – National Regional and County, Ladies and Gentlemen, across all disciplines. Mainly a target club, several members also travel to compete in Field and Clout. Most members shoot Recurve, but there is a thriving Longbow fraternity, and compound archers are welcome.
